The house
The Ocean Pavilion is the purest expression of the Uluwatu estate: a single-storey structure of teak, limestone and glass set at the cliff's edge, with nothing between the bed and the horizon but a nine-metre infinity pool.
The sleep pavilion is deliberately austere — blackout at the touch of a switch, air held at 19°C, no screen of any kind. Everything wakeful happens in the open living pavilion or on the deck, where the day's light does the scheduling.
