The Longevity Protocol

The people of Nicoya don't follow a protocol. They have a plan de vida — a reason to wake up. We measure everything, and then we try to teach that.

The retreat

What happens here

The Longevity Protocol is SOMA's flagship: ten days on the Nicoya Peninsula — one of the world's five Blue Zones — combining full clinical diagnostics with the lived habits of the world's longest-lived people.

The first two days are clinical: bloodwork across sixty markers, DEXA, VO₂max, continuous glucose monitoring fitted for the full stay. The next seven are the intervention — training, eating, sleeping and living inside a protocol built from your own results. The last day is the plan: a twelve-month roadmap reviewed line by line with our longevity physician.

What you take home

The lasting part

A complete biological picture

Sixty blood markers, DEXA, VO₂max, CGM — the full diagnostic stack, interpreted by a longevity physician rather than a dashboard.

Habits with a birthplace

Every protocol element is practised in the place that proved it: the Blue Zone peninsula itself, alongside the people living it.

A year of follow-through

The retreat ends with a twelve-month roadmap and four quarterly remote reviews. This is a program, not a holiday.
