Mind & Clarity
A trained attention — quieter, sharper, and yours to direct.
Attention is the scarcest resource of modern working life, and the least trained. This program treats contemplative practice as exactly that — training — stripped of ornament and taught with the precision of a physical discipline.
The curriculum draws on three traditions SOMA teaches at its source locations: Japanese attention ritual in Arashiyama, desert silence in the Agafay, and breath-led stillness everywhere. Guests leave with an honest daily practice, sized for a real schedule.

What the work rests on
Concentration
The base skill: returning attention to one object, ten thousand times, until returning becomes effortless.
Silence exposure
Structured doses of true silence — the fastest known de-loading of the attentional system.
Ritual architecture
Tea, walking, calligraphy: containers that train attention sideways, through the hands.
Integration
The bridge from cushion to calendar — practice designs that survive a Monday.
The daily practices
- 01Morning sit — 20–45 minutes
- 02One ritual block — tea, walk or brush
- 03Digital sunset — devices end at dusk
- 04Evening short sit — 10 minutes
- 05One period of deliberate mono-tasking
Outcomes
- An established daily sit, correctly sized
- Personal silence protocol for quarterly use
- Measured attention scores, before and after
- A teacher relationship that continues remotely
