The place

Uluwatu sits at Bali's southern edge, where limestone cliffs fall a hundred metres into the Indian Ocean. The air carries frangipani and salt; the days are structured by the tide and the temple bells above Pecatu.

SOMA's estate here occupies eleven hectares of clifftop garden, oriented so that every practice space faces the water. Mornings begin in ocean fog. Evenings end with the sound of waves working the reef far below.
