Agafay
A stone desert an hour from Marrakech, silent as the moon
Marrakech-SafiDesert · warm days, cold clear nights
The place
The Agafay is not a sand desert but a stone one — pale, folded hills that run to the Atlas mountains on the horizon. There is no light pollution, no traffic, no sound except wind. It is the most acoustically silent of SOMA's sites.
Our camp is built from rammed earth and canvas: nine private pavilions around a courtyard of olive trees. The silence work done here — three days without speech — is the strongest single intervention we offer.

The signature moment
The night sit — two hours under the full Milky Way, in silence
Every SOMA destination keeps one experience that belongs to it alone — unbookable elsewhere, unrepeatable anywhere.
